ACT for Depression

28th November 2017 By bill

ACT & Depression

ACT For Depression. Robert D Zettle

This is the reading for today. ACT for Depression. ACT is great for addiction, anxiety, depression, anger, relationships, Parkinson’s, co-dependency, trauma, gambling, panic attacks, phobia’s, OCD, workplace challenges, to name a few of the issues my clients have bought to me this year.

ACT for Depression is just one of many publications tailor made for a specific human trait.

Sober, in recovery and experiencing depression? Many are. It is a normal experience for so many, and for those who are in recovery it can be the painful gateway to a relapse.

So, more homework for me. I can help you better if I am better at my job. Here is what I am reading now. Always looking to improve our skills to improve our therapies.

Acceptance Commitment Therapy, ACT, continues to help me help you.  I do stress that ACT is not a passive therapy, it is one that requires effort, action and practice. Recovery ACT is our ACT based program of therapies that will move you out of your struggle and into a new rich and meaningful life.

I see private clients at our rooms in Wilmslow Cheshire, or can provide most therapy services as home visits.

Any way, enough avoidance behaviour by writing about reading the book, time to get back to reading and studying. My values are to be a better therapist for you. The committed action is to study.
