Daily ACT Practice

ACT is an alternative strategy to chemical, alcohol or behavioural ways of living a life. ACT, rather like drugs is not a spectator sport. One has to put in the daily effort. It is hard work maintaining your addiction, and likewise, there is work ahead that is challenging. Adding ACT to one’s life starts with basic simple steps. ACT Today means having a plan, program, purpose and practice that will move you along the path that meets the criteria of a Rich & Meaningful Life. Here are some simple ACT Actions you can bring into your life today, right now. You may find you need to be Honest, Open, Willing, Persistent, Consistent, Patient, Creative. That you may need to put your journal, workbooks right next to your bed, and you can not start your day without almost tripping over them. New habits need to be right to hand, easy to pick up.
